Archers BBQ
Known as the “Best BBQ in Knoxville,” this chain of restaurants has four locations in the city. This barbecue is made the Memphis way: having the right meat, the rub, and smoking. Archers meat is not pulled until it is ordered, and the sauce is served on the side.
Holly’s Homberg
This is the place for delicious quiche, homemade soups and sandwiches, and local bakery Magpies. A second restaurant, Holly’s Corner, also serves “halfsies,” half sandwiches and soup, and it is vegan-friendly.
Knox Mason
This restaurant offers the best Southern cuisine. Such classics as cornmeal-crusted Mississippi catfish with Falls Mill grits are served. Desserts are served in mini mason jars and loaded with delightful sweets, such as Cruze Farm buttermilk panna cotta and Knox Mason banana pudding.

Nestled in a beautiful setting on the Tennessee River, Calhoun‘s has a famous barbecue fresh ground burgers, steaks, and chops that many enjoy along with garden-fresh salads.
